Sorry that i could not reply. No I haven't seen the book. It must be interesting. I shall try to lay my hands on a copy. Why do people plant varieties which are foreign? I had recently visited the Lotus Temple in Delhi and the heat was unbearable. Why do they have lawns which are so hard to maintain? Where is the water? Why not plant varieties of our own large shade giving trees, like Neem etc? --Kalpana Gupte 14:17, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
