Dr. Ballegu, W.R.W., a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Food Science and Technology at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), has a long teaching experience (over 22 years). He joined SUA as a Tutorial Assistant in April 1986. Ever since, he has been involved in teaching at SUA (TANZANIA) at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He teaches courses in the area of Food Engineering. He has supervised and/or co-supervised over 100 undergraduate students in their Final Year Special Projects (short research studies that culminate into BSc dissertations). He has also so far supervised/co-supervised two MSc students. His teaching experience includes a 9 weeks experience at Makerere University (UGANDA) (Department of Food Science and Technology: May - July 1991) and another 9 weeks at Kigali Institute of Science, Technology and Management, KIST (RWANDA) (Department of Food Science and Technology: July - September 2003). He also offers one course to undergraduate students of the Open University of Tanzania (distance learning: 2002 to date). See attached CV
