Talk:Wikieducator tutorial/New Pages and Links/Internal links
Can we find a graphic for the shift + backslash --Mackiwg 08:40, 27 January 2007 (CET) I'll take a look.
I was seeing whether the book list would create a URL which identified it as mine, only to find I'd created the page thus rendering the 'activity' somewhat confusing. Have changed the name to Booklist which now shows a red link. This relates to the last question in the FAQs. It does look like page names are unique, i.e. only one page can be called Page 2. Presumably you get around this by giving it a piped link of page 2.Liz Ramsay 21:03, 4 July 2007 (CEST)
can we make a distinction between a new page and a current page
The Syntax is for making a new page...but if you're a newbie like myself, you go along, until a WikiNeighbour points out that you can do it easier, better.
That was my experience...I was creating more work for myself, and Brent suggested using Internal Links. But the documentation only shows how to do it for "New Page", not a pre-existing page...
Can I work on this with someone?
