re: Become an OERu partner area and button

I recommend you keep the existing process as is - so the funnel takes prospects from the home page (interest generated), to the Partner page (information provided) to the Invite page (action required). There isn't enough compelling info on the home page or the invite page to persuade the prospect to make the leap - but the prospect page helps fill that gap.

re: Prospective Partner Page

Regarding the questions, "Do we retain the Prospective partners page and link at the bottom of the site - i.e. does the new /Invite page replace the prospective partners page?":

I think it's in your best interest to keep this page, for a few reasons:

  • There's some SEO value in keeping the page live as it still has unique and useful information
  • If anyone has linked to this page, the link will remain valid
  • The invite page is more for scheduling a session - a little bit of info for folks that found it via methods other than the links we're providing (invite letter, 7 things you should know, etc) - but essentially it's just to measure how they got to the site and lead them to an easy way to schedule a web meeting with Wayne/exec team.
  • The current partner page delivers answers in a good format. Before removing/changing - I'd recommend we look at the analytics to see how much time people are spending on this page, and where they go next.

Instead of removing the page or incorporating it into the /invite page, I think it will be better to cross-link the two pages. End the prospective page with a strong CTA and point them to the invite page. Build a link in the /invite page to point them to the ProspectivePartner page
