In reading over this page, it seems to me that the Merode altarpiece is not the image being referred to in points 1-8. Although neither of the originals for this content have an image included (which seems an oversight as the text clearly needs an image to understand the points being made), I believe the image being referred to is the Arnolfini Portrait by Van Eyck (shown at right). I suggest replacing the Merode altarpiece image with the image of the Arnolfini portrait.
Thoughts?
