1. I'D LIKE TO SEE OUR CONCLUSION JUST PRIOR TO THE BULLETS

3. Whereas, the purpose of pre-requisites is to ensure incoming students have sufficient skills to succeed in the course Whereas, unnecessarily high pre-requisites creates an unneeded barrier to entry COMBINE ABOVE TWO BULLETS WITH A SEMI-COLON - done by BRIAN

4. Whereas, given the above, claims that courses that do not employ Intermediate Algebra have been ?dumbed down? are unsubstantiated and, in the view of many, pedagogically faulty THIS ONE MIGHT BE DROPPED, OR OMIT TEXT AFTER "AND"


5. Whereas, most community colleges cannot arbitrarily assign pre-requisites but must first demonstrate that the course actually uses the required material NOT QUITE TRUE. IF THERE IS A CSU TRANSFER REQUIREMENT, THEN WE ARE NOT BOUND TO DEMONSTRATE VALIDITY OF A PREREQUIISITE

I have gone ahead and done the following related to Mark's suggestions:

# 4 removed text after AND
# 5 removed item entirely


On point 2... This format was suggested by Lydia. Perhaps she could further explain how she thinks this will be best used.
