I spoke to Tony Roy Savarimuthuon the phone today. He is one of the conference program organizers. To cut a long story short, he said our idea would fit well into the education stream and encouraged me that we were on the right track. This is how we summarised how the paper would look:
- What the course was
- Tools used
- Experience of participants
- Theoretical underpinning
- Lessons learned.
-There you are - not too complicated!
I believe it is really important that we stick to the questions the conference facilitators want answered. Maybe we choose one or two and fit the experience from Facilitating elearning communities to that: For example, I believe we could address their Q: How can various Web 2.0 tools be integrated to satisfy the needs of electronic communities in a holistic manner?
If some course participants contribute to the paper and/or agree to be interviewed and their audio used in the presentation we wont need to worry about permissions. I have added more ideas on my blog.
