Talk:Ambassadors
I've noticed some wording around WikiAmbassadors, focusing on the phrase "self-appointed". I'm not sure that we want to draw attention to WikiAmbassadors in that way.
As well, communities and networks, and even project leaders may designate one or two or more WikiAmbassadors from their own communities, to do outreach and information-sharing among neighbouring communities etc. These WikiAmbassadors would then be appointed from within, and accountable back to their specific communities, and of course, to the larger WikiEducator community.
There are significant implications here for Community-building. I just wanted to weigh in with my voice, here.
