What is social entrepreneurship?

What is a social entrepreneur?

Do social entrepreneurs tend to come from any specific disciplines/professions or sectors?

"No". Social Entrepreneurs (SEs) come from all sectors and professions including politics, psychology, environmentalists, education, businesses, finance, manufacturing, public relations, religious leaders, human resources, various trades, health care, marketing, law, human rights, social work/community development (less than 5%) and so on. Their specific interest in a certain field and social entrepreneurial ability, rather than education in social change projects would trigger social entrepreneurial activities in that area of operation.
