Sharai Ncube Biodata for report
Sharai Ncube is a female young animal scientist based at the University of Zimbabwe. She has a Bsc in Agriculture honours in Animal Science (1999), and an Msc in Animal Science(2004) both from the University of Zimbabwe. Currently she is a lecturer in the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture. Her roles include coordination and teaching of Principles of Animal Production, Dairy Production, Rangeland production and Poultry Production courses. Area of specialization for Sharai Ncube is Poultry Production where she is both the technically and practically equiped. Before joining the University she worked for Musariri Investments Abbattoirs as an abbattoir production manager and marketing manager. Her duties included abattoir sales management,wholesaling and retailing, stock management,profit evaluation, market research and labour management. Although she is in the academic field, Sharai also enjoys and likes to collaborate with other stakeholders in the agricultural industry as she believes that agricultural production is the backborne of the Zimbabwean economy. She is a potential PhD student currently targeting Malawi for a PhD in Aquaculture.
