Wikis in service learning
Students develop wiki pages as part of their learning. Examples include:
- Appropedia[1] has participating classes in North American universities, and is seeking partners to expand the program globally. See Appropedia:Service learning for more info.
- WikiProgress[2] and WikiGender[3] (both OECD initiatives) have a service learning program involving university classes in France.
- Wikipedia has had several examples of service learning, including:
- WikiProject Murder Madness and Mayhem
- Public policy initiative, supported by the Wikimedia Foundation, reported August 2010.
