Methods of Assessment and Grading:
The following are the key assignments and assessments for this class. All assignments will be graded out of 100 points.
A. In-person class preparation and participation (10%)
You are a critical member of this class. Preparation and participation are important to ensure a supportive and stimulating learning environment for all of us. You are expected to attend class, be prepared, participate in discussions, and participate in class activities. Your active participation and constructive feedback will not only improve your abilities as an active and effective learner, but also contribute to the learning of other students. Will be graded at end of the semester with Attendance Participation Rubric (see Appendix and on Canvas course site).

B. Instagram postings and discussions (20%)
Our online participation in this class will take place primarily on Instagram. You will create a classroom account/profile. You will be required to post at least 4 Instagram posts every week to the class hashtag (one initial post and three follow-up posts). Will be counted as "complete or incomplete" each week, and students' postings will be graded cumulatively at the mid-semester point and the end of the semester. Will be graded with Instagram Posting Discussion Rubric (see Appendix and on Canvas course site).
