The School of Business and Management Studies (SBMS) was established in 2004 and it is one of the three (3) Schools in the Polytechnic. The core mission of the School is to provide marked academically driven professional and Practice - oriented highly qualified middle-level manpower for the various sectors of the economy.

The School consists of the Office of the Dean and six (6) other departments. These departments are:

  • Professional Studies
  • Marketing
  • Purchasing

  • Liberal Studies

Each of these departments is adequately resourced with competent teaching and non-teaching staff. The school also has a pool of accomplished practitioners who serve as part-time lecturers. This has provided a good student-lecturer ratio of the School.
