The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) joins the OER Foundation as a founding member. Cable Green says "We have a problem. Higher education is in the business of learning and we are not yet effectively leveraging digital, global networks of knowledge and people. WikiEducator, the OER Foundation and other like-minded open efforts help us to share openly licensed content globally. Further, the OER Foundation pushes us to think and act openly … and not to hold on too tight to our individual open projects."
