Management means a lot of things to a lot of people since the size of management can range from one person in a small organization to hundreds or thousands of managers in large companies. In this learning pathway, we will focus on what we mean when we talk about management, its principles and their development over time, who manages, and the roles of managers.
The overall purpose of this learning pathway is for you to learn to define management as well as the principles that guide it. After successful completion of this learning pathway, you should be able to:
