PRICE DISCRIMINATION AND DUMPING

Introduction

Till now we have been assuming that the price is same for all the buyers in the market. In reality, the producer may charge different prices from different consumers in order to maximise his profit. An act of charging different prices from different consumers for the same product is called price discrimination.
