MATERIALS/RESOURCES:
- A variety of resources available on the LMS and online: pre-treaty links, an interactive treaty crossword, and an interactive historical timeline

- Go around the class – each student to say one thing they learned, one thing that made them think, one surprising element, or one question they thought about during the preceding lecture
- Discuss any questions that are raised
- Break class into groups of 3-4 students: one group is tangata whenua and one is manuhiri – each to discuss what they would think of/feel about the other group, what they may have to offer, what would be the worries/challenges
- Jeopardy game – questions always directly arising from the lecture (please note the grey shaded questions will vary as they deal with the local tangata whenua)
- If in a computer room, students to access the LMS or online activities and try the crossword and quiz. If no computer access, then the crossword and quiz could be assigned for completion at home
