Read the following sections from the Principles of Management book available from Saylor Academy:

  1. Read the Introduction to Chapter 6, to learn how goals and objectives fit into the larger planning function.
  2. Read Section 6.2 of Chapter 6, to learn more about the difference between goals, objectives, and measures.
