7 o'clock

At 7 o'clock, a student is waking up in the boarding school dormitory. There are five people per bedroom only girls or only boys of course. The boarding school students wake up and go to the shower, after that they get dressed. The girls sometimes wear wake up.

A 7 heures, l'interne se réveille dans l'internat. Ils sont cinq ou six par chambre, seulement des filles ou seulement des garçons, bien sur ! Les internes se lèvent et vont prendre leur douche, après ils s'habillent. Les filles se mauquillent parfois.

After that, they go down to the cafeteria and they have breakfast at 7.30am. They can eat cereal or bread and jam, and they drink chocolate, coffee, tea in a bowl or orange juice. We like to dip our bread or croissant in our drink. We listen to music during breakfast and chat.

Après ça, ils descendent au self ( cantine ) et prennent un petit-déjeuner à 7 heures 30. Ils peuvent manger des céréales ou du pain avec de la confiture, du café, du thé dans un bol, ou du jus d'orange. Nous aimons tremper notre pain ou notre croissant dans nos boissons. Nous écoutons de la musique pendant le petit-déjeuner et nous parlons.

8 o'clock

When the bell rings at 8am the students go to class. After that, they learnt or listen to the teacher.

9 o'clock

At 9 o'clock, sometimes the students cram for a test before going into class.

Sometimes, students arrive late. They have to say “ Sorry Mrs.G for being late ! “ and the teacher can say “Ok, no problem, come in” or “You are in trouble !

Parfois, les étudiants arrivent en retard. Ils doivent alors dire : " Désolé Madame.G d'être arrivé en retard " et le professeur peut dire " Ok, il n'y a pas de problèmes. " ou " ca va chauffer ! ".

11 o'clock

One day a week students walk to the gymnasium and play sports like badminton, handball and football...

12 o'clock

When they've got some free time in their day, the students can go to the Library Media Center (LMC) to research information, read,or work...

When it's one o'clock, Mrs G. eats lunch : Pizza, salad,and tomatoes...

two o'clock

After lunch, the students go back to class. It is two o'clock. Someone is feigning sickness in order to go to the school nurse, but they aren't really sick, they just don't want to go to class.

Après le déjeuner, les étudiants retournent en classe. Il est 14 heures. Quelque uns font semblant d'être malade donc ils vont à l'infirmerie, mais ils ne sont pas vraiment malade, ils ne veulent juste pas aller en classe.

three o'clock

It is three o'clock and the school social worker is helping a student to get a life. She says to the student : " You can be an actress you know ? " and the student says : " No, I don't think so, I'm shy ... ". The school social worker helps the students to decide what they want to be in the future.

Il est 3 heures et l'assistante social aide un élève à trouver son orientation. Elle lui dit :" Tu peux être acteur tu sais?" et l'élève dit "Non je ne pense pas, je suis timide...". L'assistante social aide les élève à décider de ce qu'ils veulent faite plus tard.

four o'clock

At four o'clock there is often a group of students recording a radio broadcast at " Fréquence Sillé ". They speak about the current events, people or the problems of the country or of the world. They also talk about sports or music...

A 4 heures il y a souvent un groupe d'étudiants enregistrent une émission radio à " Fréquence Sillé ". Ils parlent des évènements, des gens ou des problèmes des pays du monde. Ils parlent aussi de musique ou de sports...

five o'clock

At 5pm , in class, sometimes the teacher falls off the stage in front of the whiteboard. Classrooms in france usually have a stage.

A 5 heures, en classe, parfois le professeur tombe des estrades. En France, habituellement, les classes ont une estrades.

five or six o'clock

School is finished at 5 o'clock. The day students go back to their homes by bus, and the boarding school students have a snack and return to work at 5.30pm.They study until 7 o'clock.

L'école est finie à 5 heures. Les externes rentrent chez eux en car, mais les internes ont un goûter et retournent travailler à 5 heures et demi. Ils étudient à 7 heures.

Sometimes, the boarding school students speak in english to each other. Also, they try to sing in english...

It's 8:00pm, and the nurse is eating dinner.

One day a year, there is a boarding school students' party with a lots of people, even teachers. They eat a big dinner, and after that they dance for a long time.

TRADUCTION : Un jour par an , il y a la fête des internes avec beaucoup de monde, même les professeurs. Ils mangent un grand repas, et après ça ils dansent longtemps.
