Background

On December 7 and 8, 2006 Wayne Mackintosh and Eric Feinblatt were guests of Penn State World Campus [1] and AESEDA [2]. In addition to serving as general resources to the Penn State community, two open meetings were held and recordings were made. Our intent is to make recordings and materials available from those meetings as a general resource and to use WikiEducator as a way to grow those resources collaboratively.

Resources and Materials Development

During the two days of meetings, we recoded two sessions. The first was held on December 7, 2006 and the second session was held on December 8, 2006. I have organized the audio files and other materials by the session and speakers within the sessions. Special thanks to Karl Leitzel, Juan Xia, Kelley Moran, and Chrissy Fitgerald for recording the session, and to Angie Volz for formatting and working with the audio files.

December 7, 2006 Session

This session was organized around two feature presentations. The first presentation was provided by Wayne Mackintosh and the second by Eric Feinbaltt. The presentations were followed with focused comments by Michael Moore and then by Michael Aduwammi. The focused feedback was then followed by an open discussion among participants. All of the session was recorded. If you are interested in the sessions, follow the links below. We have organized the audio files into smaller chunks and made them available for download. In addition, some of the audio files have been loosely transcribed into notes within the Wiki. We would like to have notes available for all of the audio recordings. The idea is that visitors can

  1. download a file that has not been “transcribed” and contribute to the project by posting notes to the Wiki, or
  2. can review the notes of a file that has been “transcribed” and modify it to better reflect the content on the files.

  • Wayne Mackintosh’s Presentation (notes and files - Please feel free to download the files, review, improve, and post to the Wiki.)
  • Eric Feinblatt’s Presentation (files but no notes - Please feel free to download a file, take notes, and post them to the Wiki.)
  • Michael Moore’s Comments (no notes no files - The files will be available soon, when they arrive, please feel free to download a file, take notes, and post them to the Wiki.)
  • Michael Adewumi's Comments (no notes no files - The files will be available soon, when they arrive, please feel free to download a file, take notes, and post them to the Wiki.)
  • General Discussion (no notes no files - The files will be available soon, when they arrive, please feel free to download a file, take notes, and post them to the Wiki.)
