  • General: value of IT systems across national borders/ divide to - create material -
  • Involve several national and transnational collaborators within and across disciplines
  • enable other countries to benefit from material BUT - potential for feed back from economic south to north and interaction needs to be fully exploited
  • continuity of contact and interaction after the end of a 'project' period needs to be maintained for all to benefit fully
