Pre-course announcement

The UNESCO-COL OER Chair network welcomes you to the Open Content Licensing for Educators (OCL4Ed 13.09) micro Open Online Course which starts on 4 September 2013.

There are three things you should do before you start the course:

  1. Bookmark the course dashboard page in your browser. The course dashboard contains all the links you need for the course.
  2. Read through the course guide, which contains important information about the course especially for those learners interested in certification for participation or formal academic credit.
  3. Establish your personal learning environment. We will be using microblog posts (and course blogs for those learners interested in certification). We provide detailed instructions in the orientation session and recommend that if you are new to using social media technologies, that you spend a little time setting these up before the course starts.
