Project contractor/ project lead

Provide the name and contact details of the contractor for this bounty. It can be a school, individual or organisation. In the case of a team project, the lead contractor will take responsibility for agreeing the distribution of the bounty among team members. Individuals will be responsible for clearing any permissions for outside work from their employer. In consideration for the honorarium payment, the school principal will sign off permissions for releasing the resources under a CC-BY 3.0 New Zealand or CC-BY-SA 3.0 New Zealand where the contractor is a school or teacher. Independent contractors will be responsible for granting permissions under the specified creative commons licenses. Note that the authors retain their copyright and intellectual property rights, but give permissions for reuse and derivative works.

Narrative description

Please provide a succinct narrative description of the resource(s) you are planning to develop. Tell us why your proposal will be an exemplar to guide, support and motivate New Zealand teachers in building a national OER commons for Kiwi teachers.
Widgets and Templates will be developed based on Widget:Quiz Cloze and collapsible boxes for an online visual spelling quiz. A draft version is currently available at Template:Quiz Visual Spelling. Four examples of 10 question quizzes will be developed at several levels within the primary curriculum. The main spelling template will be reuseable across many levels of NZ curriculum and will be printable for off-line learning. It will be seed other uses of the Cloze Template.

This is intended as a public space for educators to provide comments, feedback, suggestions and ideas for your bounty proposal in the spirit of sharing knowledge and experience. In this way we aim to build a community of practice for our national OERNZ project and contribute to improving the quality of our work through reflective practice.
