Executive Summary

For UTAS 2015 OERu IAP, we expect to review and design two potential OERu offerings developed by UTAS, along with revise the Bachelor of General Studies framework for recognition of OERu related units within this program.

2015 Objectives

• Revise the Curriculum Design for Open Education micro course (approx. 20 hours) according to pilot participants’ feedback and offer a revised iteration in association with OERu.
• Design and development of a 2^nd micro course (approx. 40hrs) on Critical Reflection in University Learning and Teaching for delivery in association with OERu (These are postgraduate units – approximately Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) 7).
• Review the Bachelor of General Studies accreditation and recognition framework to evaluate how UTAS could consider OERu partners’ related units/subjects within the program (2015 – 2016).
