Before you read any further, take a few moments to write a brief definition of Psychology, as you understand it now, in your portfolio. Keep your definition short, no more than 2-3 sentences. As you progress through this unit you will have the opportunity to broaden and develop your working definition of Psychology. This initial statement will be useful as a baseline for this process.

What does "everybody know" about Psychology?
