Otago Polytechnic in New Zealand confirms its ongoing commitment to work on WikiEducator. The
Tour Guiding project of the Diploma of Applied Travel and Tourism -- one of many projects at the
Poly -- has been granted further funds for salaried development work in 2008. This represents the second instalment for the project which began in 2007. "
This confirms the commitment of our management to supporting this innovative and unique product on Wikieducator", says Programme Manager, Hillary Jenkins.
Our first cohort of students have finished this first-year course and be graduating. Many students will be returning for the second year of the diploma in 2008. Staff will be spending the next few weeks revising the programme which run this year implementing improvements and updates to the materials. 27 November, 2008.
