Computers and their Applications in Chemistry

Introduction

Students of physical chemistry come across a large number of experiments that require complicated calculations and plotting of graphs. Many of these problems are specific in nature, which require specific softwares. Knowledge of a programming language can help the student to write the program according to the requirements of the problem.

Objectives

After reading this section, you will have basic knowledge about some DOS commands learn about programming in BASIC language

Preknowledge

This paper does not require the students to have prior knowledge of computers. The students should have some knowledge of maths. The programs will be based on chemistry topics studied by undergraduate students of chemistry
