The New Zealand Collaborative Action and Research Network was formed in May 2009 at an inaugural symposium at the University of Canterbury, with the CARN sponsorship by the Universities of Canterbury, Waikato, and Otago. NZCA&RN is the New Zealand hub of the international Collaborative Action Research Network (CARN).
