MAHATMA GANDHI INSTITUTE

The Mahatma Gandhi Institute was established in 1970 as a joint venture between the Government of India and the Governmemnt of Mauritius. It serves as a Centre for the study of Indian Culture and Traditions and for the promotoin of education and culture in general. It has evolved into a complex institution offering courses at various levels, and is one of the four tertiary education institutions of Mauritius.
