The following information comes from Mr Joseph Sekiku at Fadeco Radio in Tanzania.

"I have personally invested in a power back-up wich comprises of 2 solar panels, 2 batteries and an inverter. This works for most of the 17 hours we are on air. Of course depending on the size of your transmitter, you might need to increase the number of solar panels and batteries."
