What is plagiarism?
Understanding plagiarism

Prepare a blog post of approximately 300 words where you use the knowledge you've acquired from your reading of the Academic integrity section on the Otago Polytechnic Learning support web site, to answer the following questions:

  1. Have you gained a better understanding of what constitutes plagiarism?
  2. Now that you know more about plagiarism, do you think any of your past work could have been considered plagiarism?
  3. Were you surprised by the extent of what can be considered plagiarism?

Remember to tag (Wordpress) or label (Blogger) your blog post using the course tag: enga103

Note that you can also record your reflections in a written journal, if you prefer, but sharing your insights with your classmates means that you can trigger a discussion that may lead to a deeper understanding as we can all benefit from each other's experience.
