Minutes of 3rd LoCoMoTion Meeting, Girona 26/27 Jan 2016

It was agreed to change our approach to the delivery and content of the course.  The course would be designed to assist learners in getting started in building a MOOC and thus each week’s content would be based on the activities that are required at that point in the development process.  It was agreed that we would certify 3 levels of participation in the MOOC with the following working titles: “Certificate of participation” - a learner having scored a specified minimum in the course quizzes. “Certificate of accomplishment” - a learner having scored a specified minimum in peer assessments. “Professional Certificate” - a learner that creates a MOOC. The team worked for approximately 9 hours discussing and specifying in detail the learning objects (and order) for the second delivery.  This was documented in a Mindmap in a spreadsheet: Mindmap: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_f5XaX16_qNY2dzRV9laG9GOHM Spreadsheet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_f5XaX16_qNSkR5YXVLUXF4bEU/view?usp=sharing Discussions took place on claims from partners for work carried out and expenses claimed.  Clarifications were given but no decisions were taken. It was agreed that more needs to done to order documentation particularly with a view to providing evidence of progress on outputs. It was noted that partners have agreed on the transfer of an amount of funds to IT Sligo employ someone to assist with the generation of outputs and various project management tasks.  This will involve an audit by the funding agency.
