Issues with monetary policy: A summary

In this pathway we continued our exploration of monetary policy to look at issues around monetary policy, such as time orientations, lender reluctance, and the liquidity trap. We saw how the Phillips curve demonstrates short-run equilibrium and the trade-offs between inflation and unemployment. Finally, we considered complex or unconventional policies attempting to control the financial system.
