Assessment

Once you have completed this course, you have the option to take a quiz that assesses your understanding of the course content. If you successfully complete this quiz, you will earn a micro-credential from Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU). This micro-credential comes with a digital badge that you may embed within an e-portfolio or share through social media (e.g., LinkedIn profile).

In order to attempt the quiz, you need to follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the KPU Online Learning site at https://onlinelearning.kpu.ca/
2. Click on the “Create new account” button towards the bottom of the screen (see below)
3. Choose a username and password and provide your email address and full name within the fields of the webform
4. Click on “Create my new account”
5. Navigate to the course page for LLWD100 at https://onlinelearning.kpu.ca/course/view.php?id=582
6. Click on “Living Well With Dementia micro-course quiz” to attempt the quiz
7. Upon successful completion of the quiz, you will receive an automated email via CanCred on behalf of KPU letting you know you have earned a digital badge along with an option to claim it. You will also have an option to create a free account at CanCred Passport to store your badge credentials along with any other digital badges you may have earned elsewhere.
