Tilt down
When the camera is stationary but pivots on a tripod from looking up to looking down (visual) |
Examples
The clip to the right from the short film Big Buck Bunny shows a tilt down. The shot opens showing the sky and the camera tilts downwards to reveal the field where the film takes place.
Typical effects
This technique can be used to emphasis the height of something by showing it from its top right down to its bottom.
Note that this clip also uses a fade in at the beginning.
