This Open Education Global (OEGlobal) instance of the micro-course, Open education, copyright and open licensing in a digital world (LiDA103) is offered in partnership with the OERu and the OER Foundation.

OEGlobal's goal is to offer opportunities for professional development specific for people new to the field of open education and especially to introduce global perspectives. The OERu course infrastructure offers an innovative means to reuse the existing OERu platform. OEGlobal very much appreciates their support. The course content has not been significantly been changed, the OEGlobal flavor will come from use of their own community cplatforms that are integrated into LiDA103

About the OE Global Course Series

The LiDA courses will eventually become a part of a new OEG program of offering a (free, open) program of certification as a Global Open Educator.

LiDA103 via OEGlobal will be offered first on experimental basis in January 2022, in both the self-paced options and in timed cohorts. Digital certificates of completion are available.

These OE Global Courses will be facilitated by OEGlobal staff and members. It will make use of the OEG Connect community space.

OER Reuse and Remix in Action

This first offering is an experiment to leverage the OERu publishing platform in a way that models the practices of open content and remix.

The courses and home will be at an OEG managed course site (http://course.oeglobal.org/) and will make use of OEG Connect as the discussion platform. The Course Feed will effectively intermix responses from participants at OEG and OERu, making for a larger pool of interaction.
