Recognizing the signs of conflict

Have you ever been involved in or witness to conflicts either at work or in any other type of organization you were involved in? Make a list of all the signs of conflict you can think of (e.g. gossip, stress, yelling, etc.).

Dealing with conflict
Now that you had a chance to think about conflict and its signs, turn your focus to how they were resolved or not by the manager or person of authority. More specifically, answer the following questions:

• How did the manager deal with the conflict?
• Did the conflict get resolved? Why? Why not?
• What would you have done differently, if anything?
