Strengthening International Law
|
|
No reliable system of global governance exists that is respected and satisfies concerns about accountability, participation, and transparency. Yet disturbingly, political leaders resort to war as the way to resolve international conflict. Preventing this in the future will require an ethos of responsibility and a willingness to rely on cooperative and nonviolent means to resolve conflict. Strengthening International Law will be critical for moving toward a less violent, more equitable, and more sustainable future for the whole of humanity. |
