Citizen Journalism
|
|
Citizens need information about the political, economic, and cultural systems that structure their lives. This is usually produced by journalists — but citizens can be journalists. The beauty of Citizen Journalism is that it only requires: (1) citizens with dedication, skills, and access to networks, and (2) an audience for the news they produce. Citizen Journalism represents an important opportunity for the realization of democratic change. |
