LESSON 4: EXPONENTIAL EQUATIONS
From WikiEducator
Introduction
An equation is called an exponential eqution when it has an unknown variable as an index(exponent).Remember that in solving such equations you must consider the fact that if b^{n }=b^{m}
Objective
The end of this lesson the learner should be able to:

Find the value of x in the following:
 2^{3x1}=4^{x+3}
 4^{x+2}=^{x1}
 8^{x}=0.25^{ }
Solution
 2^{3x}=4^{x+3}
 2^{3x1}=(2^{2})^{x+4}
 2^{3x1}=2^{2(x+3)}
 3x1=2(x+3)
 3x1=2x+6
 x=7
 4^{x+2=<8x1 }
 (2^{2})x+=(2^{3})^{xi}
