Jio,a new entrant in the 4G market, has achieved this growth faster than any other Telecom operator or startup in the world, including the likes of Facebook,Whatsapp and Skype,Reliance Jio Infocomm said in a release.

When there is high demand for a product, it is likely to either go out of supply or enter the black market. This might be the case with Reliance Jio SIM cards, which are now being sold by the local retailers at a premium between Rs. 50 and Rs. 500, according to media reports

At RIL'S 42nd annual generalmeeting,Mr ambani had said his new telecom venture would aim to acquire 100 million customers "in the shortest possible time and create a new world record". A translate into a data usage of 250 crore gigabyte per month.

Jio has introduced Aadhaar-based paperless Jio SIM activation across 3100 cities and towns, (thus being eco-friendly). This enables the customer to complete the SIM activation process in a matter of minutes, with only his/her Aadhaar number. "This process will be extended across the country and fully stabilised for satisfactory onboarding experience in th next few weeks."

Vodafone had over 200 million subscribers and idea about 177 million subscribers in august while the subscriber count of aircel stood at 89.7 million.they achieved these numbers in about 15 years while JIO has got 16 million broadband users in less than a month.Jio may have 35 million 4G users by october end, crossing Airtel's user base.

Jio has accused dominant incumbent players of proving fat less than adequate points of interconnections needed for its users to complete a call to rival netwok. The operators have accused the new comer of unleashig a "tsunami"of free traffic on their networks. In a statement issued on September 23, Reliance Jio had alleged that over 12 crore calls failed daily between JIO and the networks of Airtel, vodafone and Idea.

I think napart from getting ample internet, and free callings it is also bane on the part of other tele communication companies. Infact TRIO(telephone regulatory authority of india) had to face a lot of deflation in terms of unstable economy.
