Welcome to Introduction to Research Methods In Psychology (irmp101). This course is an integral part of training for students majoring in psychology as well as others interested in learning more about psychological research. This course is unique in that it provides an essential knowledge base while simultaneously developing essential research skills. Consequently, although this course includes a final exam for those who wish to receive credit, the majority of your course grade and/or learning will be derived from your working on practice assignments. In addition, in every unit you are tasked with completing one or more activities that help develop your research skills.
