Identifying risk

Risk identification is the first step in the risk management process. The risks both of and to a project must be identified before any action can be taken to assess and control them.

Read the the section Risk identification in the prescribed textbook (Web | PDF), Chapter 16 (pages 142 and 144 in the PDF version).

  1. Using the Risk Breakdown Structure diagram in the text as a guide, identify the risks of four work packages.
  2. Write a post including your diagram in your learning journal blog.
