Making the wrong procurement decisions can not only blow the budget of your project, but can also create unanticipated problems with quality and even safety. Having a plan in place for effective procurement can minimise this risk.

Complete the tasks listed below:

  1. Create a procurement plan.
    • Identify at least five items to be procured.
    • Ensure items are logically aligned with the resources required, as set out in the resources list and budget.
    • Include the relevant associated costs and quality standards in the description.
    • Make sure that, for each item, the suggested type of contract is identified and the reason for its selection is well justified.
