Read the the section Procurement Process in the prescribed textbook (Web | PDF), Chapter 13 (pages 124 - 127 in the PDF version).

In this section you will look at the steps in the procurement process.

Pick a project that you might have to manage. This might be at work or at home. For example refitting your kitchen or office. You need to work out if you can do this yourself (Make) or will you procure services/resources to complete the project (Buy).

1. Use the section on page 119 of the text book to help you come to a Make/Buy decision.
2. Identify 3 suppliers that could do the job for you. if you were approaching them for information what are the three key questions you would want to ask them?
