Welcome to this micro-course in the Introduction to Project Management series.
Initiating a project (IPM102) is hosted at the OERu. The OERu envisions a world where all learners will have more affordable access to higher education. In this course you'll gain knowledge of project management theory and apply it to planning the initiation of a team project.

Formal academic credit and micro-credential options
You are free to participate in this course for self-interest and the course materials will remain open.
If you would like to gain formal academic credit, this micro-course forms part of the OERu’s free first year of study with pathways to achieve the Certificate Higher Education Business (OERu) at the University of the Highlands and Islands.
You will also be able to earn an optional micro-credential for assessed learning from Edubits. Successfully completing the four micro-credentials for the Learning in a digital age course will qualify for transcript credit towards the Certificate of Higher Education in Business (OERu).
