Dual processing suggests that there are myriad variables that are processed at an unconscious level. These implicit influences can have explicit consequences. One example that has garnered a lot of media attention is implicit bias:

1. Complete the Implicit Association Test (IAT) via this website
2. Review Harvard’s Project Implicit website that gives an overview of implicit bias.
3. Reflect on your results and how they might reflect your life experiences.
