Introduction to Handbook

The documents included in this “Handbook” are those which should be of use to all teachers, and especially new teachers starting a year at Papanui High School.

The information and systems explained are as correct as possible. However, staff should realise that because we constantly review our processes, nothing is “set in concrete”. Changes will undoubtedly be made and duly notified.

Each year an Annual Supplement is printed with information specific for that year.

That being said, I hope staff find the handbook useful. The intention is that every staff member should have access to a copy for ready reference, for short-term loan or perhaps to quickly copy an “out of stock” form.

The most up-to-date information will always be contained in this document. The document can be printed in their most up-to-date form on request to the office or from this page.

Copies of all current policies can be obtained from the Principal's Secretary.
