Dear CCOM 103 participants,

Welcome to Session 2. These instructions are for the second Negative and Crisis Communication learning pathway. If you have just joined us, you will find copies of the instructions for the previous sessions in the Announcements section of the CCOM 103 course site. You should have enough time to get up to speed with the basics to commence your learning journey.

Work through the learning materials and activities of this second learning pathway which aims to teach you about effective ways to deliver negative news and invite constructive feedback to prevent business problems. Every organization should have a crisis communication plan for worst case scenarios. As you work through this pathway, you will also learn the elements of a crisis plan, including how to manage press conferences. In all these cases, preparation is the key to productive outcomes.
