Read 16.6 Conflict in the work environment in Saylor Academy (Ed.) 2012. Business Communication for Success. (See pages 637 - 644 in PDF version.) in Business Communication for Success.

The key concept in this reading is that, while conflict is unavoidable, it need not be negative. In fact, conflict often offers opportunities for clarification, personal growth, and strengthening business relationships. This reading also describes effective communication strategies for workplace evaluation, criticism, and conflict negotiation situations.
